Johanna Sinkkonen (1983) is a Visual Artist from Turku, Finland. She has worked in various task in the fields of art for over 10 years. She specializes in public art works, large mixed media art works and comission portraits. In her art, Sinkkonen fearlessly combines different fields of art, thus breaking the norms of everything. She creates her art without harming nature or the environment. She recycle materials as much as possible, and the artist often seeks material inspiration from flea markets. With her art Johanna often ask questions about the environment, equality and caring. Although her art is commenting on the issues that world now faces, in public works she has given herself permission to play and create something beautiful and fun. Johanna’s way of working often differs from the common gallery scene and that’s why she is also looking for new alternative ways of exhibit her work to the public.
